Jersey's national team played two T20 matches as they took to the field at Lord's for the first time in their history.

The home side, Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), won the first tie by eight wickets, with Travis Norris hitting a century from 59 balls.

In the second match, MCC scored 124-5 and seemed to be in the driving seat until Charlie Brennan hit 63 not out and captain Charles Perchard struck a four to clinch the win for the island side with just two wickets left.

The fixtures on Thursday formed part of the Jersey's preparations for their upcoming ICC T20 Men's World Cup qualifying campaign.

Jersey will play in T20 World Cup Europe sub-regional Qualifier A in Cyprus from 16-23 May for a place in the final round of European qualifying for the 2028 T20 World Cup.

Jersey narrowly missed out on a place at this year's T20 World Cup after coming third in their five-team qualifying tournament in the Netherlands last summer.
