Rainey secures Scotland's first ever women's boxing medal with knockdown

Caitlin Rainey has guaranteed Scotland's first ever boxing medal at a Commonwealth Games after winning her quarter-final in the women's 65kg division.
With a both losing semi-finalists earning bronze, the 23-year-old taxi driver from Renton knew victory in her first bout in Glasgow would be enough to secure her country's first boxing podium this year.
And she knocked down Flora Loga of Papua New Guinea three times in the second round - having won the first - to force the referee to stop the contest.
Rainey will now fight Kaci Rock of Northern Ireland in Friday's semi, with a potential gold-medal fight on the line.
Heavyweight Robert McNulty is also guaranteed a medal after he won his quarter-final on points against Kapil Pokhariya of India.
However, there was disappointment for Niamh Mitchell in the 60kg division after she lost her quarter-final on points to another Indian, Priya Priya.
