Statue of City legends unveiled outside Etihad Stadium

A statue of Manchester City legends Colin Lee, Mike Summerbee and Francis Lee has been unveiled outside Etihad Stadium.

Bell, Lee and Summerbee made a combined 1,280 appearances and scored 368 goals for City.

They helped City win the league title in 1967-68, the FA Cup in 1969 and the League Cup and European Cup Winners' Cup in 1970.

"This is a truly special moment for me and my family," said former winger Summerbee, who scored 67 goals in 449 appearances for City.

Bell died in 2021 aged 74, while Lee passed away in October aged 79.
