Armagh powered into the Ulster Senior Football Championship semi-finals with a dominant 2-32 to 1-24 victory over Fermanagh at Brewster Park.

Kieran McGeeney's side were in control from an early stage and effectively settled the contest before half-time, building a commanding lead through a mix of clinical finishing and long-range accuracy, including a series of two-pointers.

The Orchardmen withstood a second-half surge from Fermanagh with Darragh McGurn scoring a goal and converting three two-pointers, finishing with 1-12 in total.

Fermanagh had struck the opening score through Jonathan Cassidy, but Armagh quickly took control, with Conor Turbitt, Oisin Conaty and Ethan Rafferty all influential as they surged into a double-digit lead during a one-sided opening half.

Jason Duffy's goal late in the first period, followed by a Ross McQuillan two-pointer, left the Ernesiders trailing by 16 points at the interval, having been punished for a string of missed chances in front of goal.

Armagh resumed in similar fashion after the break, with Duffy and Turbitt extending the gap before a second goal on 41 minutes, finished by Turbitt after good work from Jarly Og Burns.

Fermanagh did improve in the second half, with Darragh McGurn producing an outstanding individual display that included a goal and a series of two-pointers, while substitute Oisin O'Neill made an immediate impact at the other end with a scoring burst after his introduction.

Despite that resistance, Armagh remained firmly in control, with Conaty, Burns and O'Neill continuing to add to their tally as they comfortably saw out the game with an 11-point gap.

They now await the winner of Sunday's quarter-final between Donegal and Down [15:00 BST] as they progress to the semi-finals in Clones on 3 May.

Armagh surged into a commanding lead at the break against Fermanagh, hitting four two-pointers on their way to a 1-17 to 0-4 advantage.

Kieran McGeeney's side were clinical throughout the opening period, with Oisin Conaty, Conor Turbitt and Ethan Rafferty all contributing from distance, while Jason Duffy's late goal effectively put daylight between the sides.

Fermanagh made the brighter start and opened the scoring through Jonathan Cassidy, but they struggled badly in front of goal thereafter, with only Darragh McGurn, Garvan Jones and Joe McDade converting points before the break.

Armagh took full control after Tomas McCormack and Darragh McMullen combined for their opening score, with Turbitt's two-point free and Rafferty's long-range effort underlining their dominance as they stretched the gap into double figures after 29 minutes.

Despite working the ball into promising positions, the Ernesiders were repeatedly let down by their finishing, registering a series of nine wides and five short efforts that halted any early momentum.

Any hopes of a late first-half rally were ended when Duffy finished to the net in the 34th minute, before Ross McQuillan added another two-pointer to leave Fermanagh with a mountain to climb after a one-sided opening half.

Armagh picked up where they left off after the restart, with Cian McConville converting a free following an early save by Sean McNally to extend their advantage. Jason Duffy and Conor Turbitt quickly added further points as the Orchardmen continued to dictate the tempo and stretch their lead.

Fermanagh showed more attacking intent in the second period and were rewarded when Darragh McGurn opened his second-half account with a two-pointer, their first of the game, but Armagh's response was emphatic.

A flowing move involving Jarly Og Burns ended with Turbitt firing to the net in the 41st minute to effectively end the contest.

McGurn remained the standout for the Ernesiders and led a spirited response, landing a succession of two-pointers and scores from distance as Fermanagh began to find their rhythm in attack after a wasteful first half.

However, Armagh's depth told as substitute Oisin O'Neill made an immediate impact, scoring four points in quick succession after his introduction, while Conaty and Burns continued to keep the scoreboard ticking over, with the Orchardmen finishing with 10 different scorers.

Fermanagh continued to press forward and were rewarded when McGurn capped an excellent individual display with a well-taken goal, weaving through before finishing clinically, while Conor O'Hanlon also impressed off the bench with a duo of two-pointers.

Despite that late rally, Armagh always remained in control, managing the game comfortably in the closing stages as they maintained a healthy 11-point cushion to secure their place in the last four.
