Jeremy gives the young Speakers a practical route to becoming more effective and creative communicators
Jeremy is well known for teaching at RADA but he’s also taught and directed theatre all over Europe, as well as lecturing extensively in Japan.
On-screen acting coach television credits include How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria, Strictly Dance Fever and Faking It. In theatre, Jeremy’s credits include the Royal National Theatre.
It would be fair to describe Jeremy as a man of many parts – an actor, director and teacher and he is a highly regarded expert in inter-personal communication and performance and is just as happy working with actors as non-actors.
Jeremy’s clients include politicians, pop-stars and industry leaders. His work encourages participants to use all of their senses in communication and to be aware also of the context of space and environment.
As one of The Speaker Judges, Jeremy demonstrates the importance of "dialogue" between performer and audience. Jeremy shows how this relationship can be fostered and nurtured through an enhanced awareness of non-verbal forms of communication – and that what we say is only part of the message. In so doing, Jeremy gives the young Speakers a practical route to becoming more effective and creative communicators.
So who better to help the Speakers improve their performances, use their body language effectively and inspire their audiences?
