President Donald Trump has confirmed he asked Fifa to review United States striker Folarin Balogun's one-match suspension at the World Cup. Trump says football's world governing body "made the right decision" to suspend Balogun's ban, adding it would have left a "big stain" on the tournament had it been implemented. But the decision has been criticised. Our correspondent explains and we hear a conversation with journalists covering the tournament, including one from the USA's opponents Belgium. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has apologised for comments he made about popstar Kylie Minogue in a podcast interview last week. Our correspondent tells us more about what he said. And the world premiere of The Odyssey is taking place in London. Its promoters are hailing it as the most anticipated movie of 2026. Director Christopher Nolan and stars Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson and Zendaya are expected to be on the red carpet to launch this adaptation of Homer’s Ancient Greek epic. In the US the hope is that this Hollywood production will bring about a worldwide bonanza at the box office. Our expert explains. Presenter: Luke Jones. (Photo: US President Donald J.
