US strikes Iran military for a second time in three days

Newsday

Available for 29 days

The US military has carried out new strikes on Iran, targetting a military site in Bandar Abbas, a strategic port city. It's the second time in three days that the US has attacked targets in Iran saying that the strikes were conducted in self defence. Meanwhile Israel has told people living in southern Lebanon to move north - declaring around an eighth of the country a combat zone. We get a political view from Beirut. And we look at reports that the US wants Kenya to establish a facility where American citizens exposed to Ebola can receive treatment if necessary. We speak to an American medic who believes the US would offer a higher standard of treatment.
