Hidden East Yorkshire

Available for over a year

A battered suitcase of letters uncovered the remarkable story of Michael “Kick” Murphy, a Victorian Hull teenager who sailed around the world in the 1890s. Contributors: Dr Robb Robinson - Honorary Research Fellow, University of Hull. Paul Schofield - Historian and English Heritage accredited guide. Trinity House Navigation School Old Boy - Captain Russ Garbutt. Vic and Linda Randerson - Kick's relatives. Voice of Kick Murphy - Connor Axiotes. Presented by Phil White. Researched by Joan Venus-Evans. Mixed by David Reeves. Produced by Kate Murphy. Image Credit: Hull History Centre
