'My nose attaches and detaches via magnets'

Available for over a year

Millions of people have followed the journey of Redditch's Jayne Hardman, who had her nose removed in 2017 due to health reasons. She has several prosthetic noses to suit different occasions. The mother-of-two was diagnosed with limited Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis in 2014, suffered a 'total nose collapse' and had it removed three years later. She was alerted to possible symptoms after being lightly hit in the face by her dog. When her original nose couldn't be reconstructed, she chose to model her new nose on one of her nurses. She tells Tammy Gooding how the changes have left her feeling more confident in her own skin. Her online adventures have seen her pick up followers in the millions as she answers viewers' questions and shares her insight into a life like no other in the UK.
