Community choir bringing people together in Southampton

A group of singers and musicians from CLEAR, Welsh National Opera and the University of Southampton performed at a special concert celebrating diverse musical traditions. The concert showcased the power of music to connect people across cultures and communities, with singers performing in multiple languages. The event was organised by CLEAR, Welsh National Opera, the Southampton Centre for Music Education and Social Justice, and the Department of Music, with support from the University Sanctuary Team. John Hansard Gallery hosted the concert, as part of its Community Takeover 2026.
