'Huddersfield's mini-Hogwarts' left to rot?

Oakes Board School in Huddersfield has been named in the top 10 most endangered Victorian-era buildings in England and Wales. The Grade II-listed school in Lindley was opened in 1873, before closing as a school in 1974. Geoff Hughes is a committee member of the West Yorkshire Group of the Victorian Society and Andy Hirst who is a freelance journalist for the Huddersfield Hub and a former pupil of Oakes Junior School, spoke to Rima Ahmed about the history of the site and the possible solutions for the buildings.
