Fionn Regan

Stephen McCauley

Available for 29 days

Bray singer-songwriter Fionn Regan released his masterful debut album “The End of History” in 2006 and was immediately nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. Whether it is the intricate acoustic folk of that record or the upbeat electric blues of the follow-up “The Shadow of an Empire” or, indeed, the sun-dappled atmospherics of his most recent album, “O Avalanche”, his intuitive songwriting is poetic, cinematic and utterly compelling. Following the announcement of a new album “Berlin, Berlin” due for release in early 2027, we revisit a session we recorded at Stendhal Festival just after his magnificent set on the Stevie Martin Stage.
