Helen Mark MBE presents BBC Radio Ulster’s weekly Ulster-Scots magazine this week alongside Rab Lennox and Willie Hill. Helen heads to Glenshane to catch up with writer Angeline King. Her new novel ‘Snow in Leiden’ connects the Ulster-Scots, the Scots and the Dutch and is rich in Ulster-Scots dialogue. Willie talks us through how a casual chat about a century old Lambeg drum he was trying to track down lead him to what can only be described as a secret museum - full of items with remarkable stories. Rab puts together a guide listing incredible one off an established U-S related festivals and events coming up across the province, giving an excuse for him to share some great music. As always, listeners are invited to contact the programme with a good Ulster-Scots yarn or event to talk about. The easiest way to do that is by email – kintra@bbc.co.uk
