Jennifer Jones takes your calls on regeneration projects, work experience and your first photo

Would your town or city centre benefit from regeneration money? Towns and cities across Wales are set to benefit from ten million pounds of Welsh Government money for regeneration projects. Wrexham will receive five million pounds - with the rest being spent in places like Brynmawr, Monmouth, Bala, Newport and parts of South West Wales. The Minister for Local Government, Housing and Planning, Siân Gwenllian, said there was an opportunity to "reimagine" our town centers to create "vibrant places for people to go and spend time". A new poll by Yougov has shown that 44% of Brits did work experience while at school and found it useful. This comes as former minister Alan Milburn says children as young as four should be learning about different careers, with work experience placements made mandatory for 14- to 16-year-olds. However, teaching unions warn of the "significant pressure" already facing primary schools and say practical considerations must ensure all schools have access to the support. Did you, or someone you know benefit from having work experience? According to a recent report, we are expected to take nearly 2 trillion photos in 2026… But do you remember the first photograph you ever took? After growing up documenting their lives through smartphones and social media, some young adults are now rediscovering older ways of preserving memories, including film rolls, printed photographs and photo albums they can hold in their hands. What used to be a privilege, is now a hobby… So tell us your memories of your first camera. Call or WhatsApp 03700 100 110. Text 8 10 12. Be part of the nation's conversation.
