Just got an hour? All the country you need to know, right here! Brand new exclusive music from the stars of today rubbing shoulders with all-time classics and much more besides. Tonight - Dolly Parton as you've never heard her before - singing in Welsh! When BBC Wales presenter singer/songwriter Bronwen Lewis got to know Dolly's niece Jada Star, the friends thought it would be fun to record a version of "Jolene" in Welsh to celebrate the Parton family's ancestral links. Aunt Dolly got to hear it, loved it and wanted in on the action too, the only time she ever recorded in a foreign language. Francophone Canadian Matt Lang is our Horizon Artist, The Chicks our Reissue of the Week and Darius gets behind the wagon wheels of steel to deliver his Country Disco mix! Plus, could they be the next big thing? UK artists Matt Wills and Ellie Hider have a home run for you... Country superstar Darius Rucker is a multi-million selling artist in not one, but two genres! He started off as the lead singer of Hootie & The Blowfish - first album went platinum 22 times over! - and then transitioned into a solo career as a country star, with signature hits like the billion-streaming "Wagon Wheel" which he performed to huge acclaim at last year's Opry 100 celebration in London's Royal Albert Hall. Produced by BBC Audio for BBC Radio 2.
