This week, Soweto Kinch is joined by Australian trumpeter, vocalist, composer and producer Audrey Powne. Born in Melbourne but now based in London, her work draws on jazz, soul, hip-hop and improvisation, bringing together virtuosic trumpet playing, distinctive songwriting and a deeply personal approach to composition and production. From Monday to Thursday, Audrey is selecting four of the albums that have helped to shape her musical journey so far for 4/4. To begin her week, Audrey chooses an album by a pioneering two-time Grammy award-winning trumpeter.
