Plaid Cymru has lost a Senedd vote on its supplementary budget, after other parties failed to back the plans. Plaid don't have a majority in the Senedd, so they needed support from other parties to pass the spending plans. Instead, they lost by 49 votes against, to 44 votes for. Labour said they could not support the budget due to an ongoing dispute with teaching unions. Meanwhile, Plaid Cymru's Finance Minister Elin Jones told the BBC she was "flabbergasted" by that position, and labelled the party a "destructive opposition". Traditionally, dogs are banned from Tenby's North Beach and St. David's Whitesands from May to September. However, councillor Rhys Jordan is asking this week for the ban to be suspended.
