Cellist and composer Lucy Railton shares music that inspires her in this week's Listen List, with choices reflecting her focus on sound, timbre and attentive listening. From the Witten Festival for New Chamber Music, Kate introduces works by Michael Finnissy, and the world premiere of Cassandra Miller’s The Years, a work for the vocal ensemble, Exaudi and string trio exploring themes of time and mortality.
