The number of young people not in employment, education or training - known as Neets - has risen above one million, new figures by the ONS show. In the year ending 2025, the proportion of young people aged 16 to 24 in Wales who were classed as Neets, already has reached 1 in 6, which is more than the UK average. So, what’s the answer?
