Available for 28 days

Tá na cáipéisí a bhaineann le Daonáireamh 1926 an tSaorstáit ar fáil anois ar líne, agus an seoladh déanta cothrom an lae a rinneadh an daonáireamh féin, 100 bliain ó shin. Labhraíonn Máire le Vera Moynes ón Chartlann Náisiúnta faoin áis luachmhar seo atá ar fáil go hiomlán saor in aisce. Inniu Lá Cruinne, agus tá eolaithe ag tabhairt rabhaidh go bhfuil an sruth Atlantach i mbaol cliseadh agus an riosca i bhfad níos airde anois ná mar a síleadh roimhe seo. Cluineann muid tuilleadh ón Dr Marc de Faoite, saineolaí mara. An dá scéal sin agus tuilleadh nach iad á bplé le Máire ag an iriseoir Máirín Ní Ghadhra. The documents of the 1926 Free State Census have now been made available online, with their launch coinciding with the 100 year anniversary of the census itself. Máire chats to archivist Vera Moynes about this invaluable resource which is completely free to access. Today is Earth Day, and scientists are warning that the system of currents in the Atlantic is in danger of collapse, and that the risk is now much higher than previously thought. We hear from marine expert Dr Marc de Faoite. Both of these stories, and more, are discussed by Máire and her guest, journalist Máirín Ní Ghadhra.
