Organised by Somerset Food Links (a not-for-profit organisation which works to develop the local food sector in Somerset), the festival celebrates the landscape of the Quantock Hills and gives you a chance to taste the food and drink produced in the area.

From Kilve to North Petherton, and from Cotford St Luke to Watchet, there's lots going on over the spring weekend, including farm walks, Quantock dinners, salsa-dancing and tapas, cream teas, horse rides, guided walks, Quantock breakfasts, and cheese-tastings.

Here's our pick of the delectable delights on offer:

Quantock Horse Ride and Farmhouse Cream Tea - Friday 6 May, Manor Farm in Broomfield, Bridgwater

You can take a ride around the Quantock Hills through the heather moorland and the deciduous woodland to a farmhouse near Aisholt for a real farmhouse cream tea. The ride is suitable for all abilities, although there are limited places so you need to book early.
