Watch What You Eat

Can keeping a track of what we eat make a difference?
Would you like to know a handy trick on how to curb your overeating?
Research shows that if you have evidence of how much you’ve eaten it will deter you from eating more. We put this to the test with a group of battle-weary re-enactors and a lot of chicken drumsticks.
"evidence of how much you’ve eaten it will deter you from eating more"
We took 30 hungry Saxon re-enactors and put them on two separate dining tables. We then put platters of 150 chicken drumsticks on each table. Table A regularly had their bones removed, but table B was left with the evidence of just how much they had consumed.
The results? The table that had their bones cleared regularly ate 10% more chicken than the table that could see just how much they had consumed. So, if you want to eat less try and keep some reminder of how much you have been munching.
