Andrea Oliver’s Diet

summery

Is there a healthy, pain free way to lose weight?

We used the knowledge we gained whilst making the Truth About Food to help radio DJ, Andrea Oliver, to lose weight and put theory into practice.

Like many of us Andrea has a love/hate relationship with food and has tried every diet on the market. Recently she lost her father to heart disease and that has made her take a long hard look at her life.

We took Andi for a revealing fat scan to show her just how much strain her extra fat was placing on her vital organs by being overweight. An astounding 45% Andi’s body was made up of fat.

Shocked into action and resolved to change we let Andrea into our dieting secrets and gave her the essential guide to losing weight, without missing out on the food she loves.

"An astounding 45% Andi’s body was made up of fat"

With the know-how to understand her body and appetite better was Andi’s follow up fat scan a moment to be proud of or just another entry in the catalogue of failed diets?

At the end of the three months Andi had gone from a size 22 to a size 16 and lost 7kgs. More importantly she is now aware of the strain her excess fat was putting on her vital organs, which has given her the motivation to keep eating sensibly in the future.
