Window On Your World 9
We asked PM listeners to take a picture of what they could see at 5pm on Tuesday the 5th of December.

Paul Mansell
I'm a graphic designer. My picture shows my work area in our conservatory which doubles as my studio/office. I listen to the radio via the internet all day whilst I'm working; Today, followed by the last hour of Phil Jupitus on 6 Music, Gideon Coe until midday when I switch to Robert Elms on BBC London followed by Danny Baker until 5 o'clock when I re-tune to hear PM.
The screen saver is a photograph I took of our twin daughters, Phoebe and Isabella. To the left of the monitor is my TomTom ... an essential device when one has accumulated 9 points! Through the window you can see an original 1950's concrete washing line post ... a 'survivor' from when the house was built. My wife's grandparents lived here when she was a child. Her grandfather helped build the house. He was a carpenter employed by the council who built all the houses in our road. Most were sold off back in the 80's but some still have council tenants. Hayley's grandfather died 20 years ago just after we first met and one family bought the place and lived here until last year when we bought it. My wife gets 'flashbacks' to her childhood regularly ...
The conservatory was a new addition we added as the house is a bit on the small side. We have a huge garden, however, which was the main attraction for buying. My Window on the World is a great view of our lovely garden ... and my beautiful daughters.
