Sara Mohr-Pietsch explores the musical surrounds of Errollyn Wallen's Mighty River.

Sarah Walker reveals the perfect playlist for your morning, weaving through playful Beethoven, stately Ravel and lyrical Rachmaninov. This week’s Choral Reflection offers the hauntingly beautiful Agnus Dei from Frank Martin's Mass for Double Choir, and Sarah's Sunday Sequence reflects the Battle of Hastings, ahead of its anniversary on 14th October. Plus a chance to hear Francis Poulenc's sparkling Sinfonietta in its entirety: a work written for Radio 3's forerunner, The Third Programme. A Tandem Production for BBC Radio 3.
