As part of Radio 2's Latitude coverage, rising star Elviin performed a Radio 2 Introduces... session at the festival's BBC Arena.

The soulful singer, who hails from South London, has made it on the Radio 2 playlist with his debut single 'In Colour' and his influences range from Jay-Z to Bjork to The Police.

He performed songs from his new album, plus a special interpretation of an Elton John classic 'Rocket Man' for Radio 2's Great British Songbook.

The session was broadcast as part of Dermot O'Leary's Latitude show on Saturday 18 July 2009.
