Former Ukraine Defence Minister calls for elections

Ukraine's former defence minister, Mykhailo Fedorov, whose sacking last month prompted mass protests, has called for war-time elections, in an apparent challenge to President Zelensky.

A court has heard claims Meta intentionally hooked a generation of children on Facebook and Instagram, as the biggest legal challenge faced by social media platform begins.

And fears that the number of deaths could be sigificantly higher from the conflict in Gaza.
