Uganda’s Anti-LGBTQ bill ‘endangering lives’

A Ugandan constitutional lawyer says the anti-gay bill is unnecessary and puts lives at risk.

Uganda’s parliament passes new legislation to crack down on same sex relationships. But a constitutional lawyer says many of the clauses in the bill are already contained in other laws, and the new bill also contravenes human rights protections enshrined in the constitution.
