
Passengers denied flights from Tigray
Passengers told the BBC they were restricted from flying to Addis Ababa.
Passengers in Tigray have alleged police at the city’s airport have barred anyone between the ages of 16 and 64 from flying to Addis Ababa. Ethiopian Airlines resumed commercial flights to Tigray in December 2022 following a peace deal between the federal government and Tigrayan forces.
