Demonstrations against the UN peacekeeping force have taken place in Butembo and Goma.
At least five people have died during demonstrations against the UN peacekeeping force (Monusco) in Goma and Butemmbo in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Protesters want the mission to leave.

And Kenya's presidential candidates' debates go ahead, despite two of the four contenders pulling out.
