
Zambia holds state funeral for former President Rupiah Banda
The state funeral for the former Zambian president Rupiah Banda has been held in the capital Lusaka.
Zambia's former president Rupiah Banda died last Friday after a short battle with cancer; The spokesperson of the President of Kenya, Kanze Dena, defended her country's economic strategy saying that adjusting to worldwide events like the Covid-19 pandemic and the impact on energy prices of the war in Ukraine can't be done overnight, and policies need time to take effect; The head of the WHO says nowhere on earth are people more at risk than in Tigray.
