Ukraine crisis: Evacuated students arrive back in Ghana

Seventeen Ghanaian students, evacuated from Ukraine, are the first group to arrive back in Ghana.

Seventeen students are the first to arrive back in Ghana after fleeing the conflict in Ukraine. The Ghanaian foreign ministry estimates that more than 200 Ghanaian nationals have crossed the Ukrainian border and around 400 others are en route to neighbouring countries.

Burkina Faso's new military ruler has approved a transitional charter which will allow him to stay in power for three years.

And authorities in the DRC take control of one of the world's largest cobalt mines from its Chinese owners.
