Zimbabwe government appeal judgement against Chief Justice

The country’s Justice minister filed the appeal against a High Court ruling stopping an extension of the Chief Justice’s office tenure.

The Zimbabwe’s government has filed an appeal at the Supreme Court against a High Court ruling reversing President Emmerson Mnangangwa’s decision to extend the mandate of the country’s Chief Justice, Luke Malaba, by a further five years.
