At least twenty people killed in DRC attack

Local media in the Democratic Republic of Congo have reported that at least 20 people have been killed in a massacre near Beni in the eastern part of the country. The killings have been attributed to the Allied Democratic Forces - a Ugandan Islamist group - who are active in the region.

French military denies reports that its airstrike hit a wedding party in Mali’s MOPTI region killing more than 20 people, including children at the weekend.
