
Ethiopia PM meets AU envoys but bars them from Tigray
Refugees escaping the fighting in Tigray have settled at a camp close to the Sudanese border.
Ethiopia's Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has met an African Union mission that arrived in Addis Ababa to try and mediate between his government and the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF) leadership after more than three weeks of military conflict.
Rescue operations are continuing in northern Zimbabwe for dozens of gold miners believed to be trapped underground, following the collapse of an old mine shaft on Wednesday.
This week the Resident Presidents, Olushambles and Kibarkingmad, contemplate a new approach to electioneering.
