The court hears from four witnesses who were attacked by 33-year-old Anthony Williams, before his train "rampage". One described how he “ran for his life” following his encounter with the accused on a footbridge before a night out.
Williams denies 14 counts of attempted murder. 10 of those relate to his attack onboard a moving train in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire in November 2025. The other four counts are in connection with attacks in Peterborough and London before the train event.
The trial has been told that whether Williams carried out the attacks is not in question, but jurors must consider whether he intended to kill those individuals.
