Spiritual vision of the nun who inspired millions
How did a woman living a life of solitude end up connecting with millions of people through a love of art? Sister Wendy Beckett was the nun with the distinctive voice and the extraordinary gift of bringing great works of art to life on television. However, away from the cameras Sister Wendy had chosen a very different existence - a life of prayer, silence and solitude. Dr Michelle Jones's new book explores The Spiritual Vision of Sister Wendy Beckett, and she explained to Gilly Hope what it was that drew her to Sister Wendy's story.
