Letter hidden in staircase found after 44 years

A letter written by a 10-year-old girl in 1982 and hidden in a secret compartment at her Essex home, has been found 44 years later. Builders renovating the property in Hockley stumbled upon the message and passed it to Michelle, who now lives there. But what were the chances of finding the person behind the letter?
