Thousands of army applicants rejected on medical grounds

A Freedom of Information request submitted by the BBC to the Ministry of Defence (MoD) showed more than 114,000 applications to the Army were rejected on medical grounds in the past five years.

Speaking to Today's Anna Foster, retired Army veteran Justin Crump - who now runs the intelligence company Sibiline - says recruitment rules have "been a bit of a longstanding issue".
