Burbage gravy wrestling champ makes another splash

Joel Hicks from Burbage took part in the World Gravy Wrestling Championship 2026 in Lancashire over the weekend. He holds the Guinness World Record for most male wins in the World Gravy Wrestling Championship (6 in total) but alas slipped up this year. He told BBC Leicester’s Ady Dayman why he keeps doing it.
