Author CM Serpell on her varied career leading to being a published crime writer

Author CM Serpell spent most of her career working in a prison working in various roles from rehabilitation, to teaching social enterprise. She’s written books including Her, Until Death and Dead by New Year and will shortly be releasing The Prison Hotel. She speaks to Daniel Pascoe.
