Rising Lassa Fever Deaths
Lassa Fever continues to claim lives across Nigeria, even as number of new infections fall.
Between January and June 2026, Nigeria recorded 922 confirmed cases and 221 deaths, raising concerns about why so many people are still dying from a disease that can be treated when detected early.
