'Alzheimer's has been in my life for 40 years'
Miles Bingham has revived his mother's lost memoir, revealing their family’s rare 40‑year experience of Alzheimer’s.
Valerie Bingham wrote a memoir about caring for her husband Jack through Alzheimer’s, and was later diagnosed with the disease herself.
It was her son Miles who became her carer, and he's now re-published the book adding his own experiences too.
He's been telling BBC Radio Shropshire's Clare Ashford all about it.
If you need any help or support with dementia - you'll find lots of resources at bbc.co.uk/actionline
