Crime and punishment in Cambridgeshire
Before it was the County Council HQ, Castle Hill was home to the County Gaol.
For nearly 90 years, Old Shire Hall on Castle Hill was the home of Cambridgeshire County Council.
But before the committees and politics, the site was home to the inmates of the County Gaol.
