Brotton mail delays led to missed hospital appointments
Serena Farrow went to Brotton to see how postmen and women are trying to help those affected by the delays.
Royal Mail says around 92% of letters arrive on time, though appreciate performance isn't yet where it needs to be. Local issues are being caused by temporary resourcing pressures but hope to resume service as quickly as possible.
