New scholarship keeps young voices singing

Cambiata Voices is a choir based at Newcastle's Anglican Cathedral. A pioneering new music scholarship, in partnership with Dame Allen's shools, ensures boys are not dropped from cathedral singing once their voices break. Kris Thomsett, the Cathedral's Assistant Director Of Music, and Keir McGregor, Dame Allen's Director Of Music, explain how and why the scholarship came about.
