103 year old Nora achieves her glider flight dream

103-year-old Nora Gilliver has achieved her dream of a glider flight over Leicestershire.

When asked how she wanted to celebrate her birthday, Nora said she wanted to go skydiving. Although that wasn't possible, the former Land Army veteran decided on the next best thing - a glider flight.

It's thought that Nora's flight now makes her the oldest women in the UK to take part in an experience like this.

Glider pilot Rob Barbsy from Aerosparx told BBC Leicester's Ben Jackson of Nora's reaction in the air, and Karen who is activities manager at Lawn Care home in Oadby explains how you're never too old to try something new.
