Canvey Island FC's new manager Peter Taylor says he anticipates a 'test' this season.
The former Gulls youth player, Southend United boss and England caretaker returned to the side where it all started for him last month, taking over from Brad Wellman as manager.
Taylor, 72, says he 'missed the training pitch', having been away from the dugout for two years.
