What impact can mortgage abuse have on people?

Recent research has found a huge number of women are currently trapped paying a mortgage for a property with their ex-partner that they can't break free from. This is known as 'mortgage abuse' and can result in financial and emotional ruin for victims. Consumer journalist Rebecca Wilcox speaks to one woman who was left penniless after her house was repossessed following a traumatic ordeal with her ex-partner, and highlights where to turn if you're in a similar situation.
