The Goole factory that made clothes for the stars
Generations of local people were employed at Burtons, making made-to-measure suits. The factory site on Rawcliffe Road in Goole was demolished in 2022. Now Goole Museum is putting on an exhibition as curator Dr Alex Ombler explains.
